一般說明

MES 水合物缓冲液(2-(N-吗啉乙磺酸一水合物)是一种两性离子生物缓冲液,广泛应用于生物学、环境和生物化学应用。它的pKa值为6.1, 是生理pH下缓冲溶液的首选试剂。作为20世纪60年代开发出的Good′s缓冲液之一,MES 水合物满足以下严格标准:中值pKa,最大水溶性,在所有其他溶剂中的最小溶解度,最小盐效应,不同温度下的稳定性,化学和酶学稳定性,在可见光或紫外光谱范围的最小吸收,易于合成。MES 一水合物′的特性,如低紫外吸收率、最小反应性、pH 稳定性、水溶性,令其成为一种 Good′s缓冲液。

MES 水合物缓冲液也具有高水溶性和最低的金属离子结合能力,这些特性使其成为各种应用的理想选择:

MES水合物已被用于:

  • BACE1酶提取中提取缓冲液的成分[1]

  • 用于mAb 或GST融合蛋白与羧酸盐改性聚苯乙烯乳胶(CML)珠偶联的MES偶联缓冲液的成分[3]
  • 调节荧光标记用溶液的pH 值[4]
  • 作为电泳缓冲液的成分[5]

準備報告

可通过NaOH滴定至所需的pH值,制备使用MES的缓冲液。也可将MES和MES钠盐的储备溶液混合,达到所需的pH。目前已公布了使用储备溶液制备指定 pH 缓冲液的标准混比表。[6]不建议在pH 7.4的缓冲液中使用MES;此时应考虑其他缓冲液。[7]

儲存和穩定性

溶液可在2-8°C条件下稳定保存数月。通过0.2uM过滤器过滤灭菌。不建议对任何磺酸缓冲液进行高温高压灭菌。如果缓冲液必须不含核酸酶,请先处理水,然后在高温高压灭菌后添加缓冲液。MES溶液高压蒸汽灭菌后,会变成黄色(尽管pH值并未明显变化)。黄色分解产物具体成分未知。

  1. How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

    1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
      For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.
