應用

生化/生理作用

HK2 (hexokinase 2) is responsible for adding of phosphate to glucose, forming glucose-6-phosphate in glycolysis pathway. It is the main energy source for cancer cells and is responsible for fast tumour growth and anti-apoptotic nature of cancer cells.[1][2]
