c-Fos属于转录因子家族，包括FosB、Fra1和Fra2。fos癌基因已经被分离为FBJ鼠骨肉瘤病毒携带的逆转录病毒转化基因（retroviral transforming gene，v-fos）。 c-Fos经过了翻译后修饰，研究人员也描述了其它形式，包括57 Da、60 kDa和62 kDa蛋白质。c-Fos在发育中的骨组织和牙齿、造血细胞、生殖细胞和中枢神经系统中表达稳定。c-Fos在人类足月胎膜中有高水平的表达。

應用

生化／生理作用
