生化/生理作用

2′-脱氧胞苷(deoxyC)可磷酸化形成dCTP,再由各种DNA聚合酶或逆转录酶合成DNA。2-脱氧胞苷是脱氧胞苷脱氨酶(EC 3.5.4.14)的底物,该酶可将其转化为2′-脱氧尿苷。2-脱氧胞苷可在脱氧胞苷激酶(DCK)的磷酸化作用下成为核苷酸——脱氧胞苷单磷酸(dCMP)。2-脱氧胞苷可作为头颈癌标志物。
