NKIRAS2 (NFKB inhibitor interacting Ras-like 2) encodes a protein that belongs to Ras family and κB-Ras subfamily. NKIRAS2 interacts with PEST domains of IκBα and IκBβ [inhibitors of the transcription factor nuclear factor κ B (NF-κB)] and decreases their rate of degradation.[1]
