Kerosene is a medium petroleum fraction.[1] It is widely used as commercial fuel. A kinetic reaction mechanism for the oxidation of kerosene has been investigated.[2] A fuel processing system has been developed for improving the reforming activity of kerosene for use in polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFCs).[3]
