  1. Is this tube compatible with Beckman optima L-100 XP ultracentrifuge for protein isolation from cells?

    1. These tubes have not been tested for use in any specific brand of centrifuge. The Beckman product manual notes that thin-wall open-top tubes are used with swinging buckets and fixed-angle rotors. The manual also states that only manufacturer-recommended tubes and accessories should be used in the centrifuge. The end user would have to determine suitability for this item.
