We use these fast couplings to alternate chiller cooling devices to detectors or furnaces that require cooling at different times, making it versatile and very efficient. We couple it to silicone hoses that makes it also soft and friendly upon plugging. For 20 years that we use these systems on laboratories where the experimental systems are always changing and adapting to the different requirements of experiments at ISOLDE - CERN.

Spring-loaded, locking, made of PP with 316 SS springs and EPR seals. When pulled apart, both sides seal quickly and automatically, making couplings excellent for handling air-sensitive liquids. Available for flexible tubing or rigid PE and nylon tubing using a ferruleless nut. Max. pressure: 90 psi at 70°F. Working temp.: 32 to 230°F (air/water). Use same bore size for coupling insert and body.
