Cobalt nanowires have been studied for their directional magnetic properties.[1] In addition, cobalt nanowires have been studied for their magnetoresistance behavior at both room temperature[2] and low temperatures.[3] The metal nanostructure may be used to design thin film magnets with high energy density and high thermal stability.[4]
