Copolymers of 1-eicosene and ethene has been prepared using the methylaluminoxane activated dimethylsilanediyl(tetracyclopentadienyl)(tert-butylamido)-titanium dichloride catalyst system[1]. It polymerizes in the presence of zirconocene and hafnocene catalyst to yield poly-1-eicosene[2].

應用

1-Eicosene was used in the synthesis of (Z)-tetracos-5-enoic acid and racemic cis-4-(2-octadecylcyclopropane-1-yl)-butanoic acid[3].
