生化/生理作用

米托蒽醌是一种细胞抑制性蒽二酮，可嵌入 DNA 中，通过稳定拓扑异构酶 II 与 DNA 的可裂解复合物，增加双链断裂的发生率。米托蒽醌还表现出广泛的免疫抑制活性，抑制各类淋巴细胞增殖并诱导抗原提呈 T 细胞凋亡。它在临床上用作抗白血病和实体瘤的化疗药物以及多发性硬化症的免疫系统调节剂。
