應用

来自 皂树 树皮的皂苷已被用于:
  • 对CD4+ 和CD8+ T细胞进行染色
  • 裂解滋养体感染的红细胞
  • 免疫组织化学染色中

生化/生理作用

皂苷与许多生物学和药理学活性有关。其已知可在哺乳动物中刺激免疫应答。因此它可用作疫苗佐剂。皂苷具有抗病毒、抗真菌、抗肿瘤、抗炎、降血糖和降胆固醇的作用。
皂苷可溶解胶束中胆固醇的低密度脂蛋白(LDL)部分,从而降低其浓度。来自 皂树 树皮的皂苷可用作食品和饮料中的调味剂。皂苷已在体外被证明可增强免疫细胞增殖。
