一般描述

视黄醇又称维生素A醇，是维生素A的主要循环形式。它不具有生物活性。视黄醇又称全反式视黄醇，是一种带有环己烯基环的20碳分子，具有带四个双键（反式构型）的侧链和一个醇端基。[1]

应用

视黄醇已被用于：
  • HepG2细胞中全反式-视黄酸的合成。[2]
  • 研究视黄醇对作为类器官培养的鼠正常结肠细胞生长的影响。[3]
  • 测定细胞中维生素A的标准品。[4]
  • 作为体外睾丸器官培养和精子发生的成分确定培养基的成分。[5]

生化/生理作用

视黄醇及其衍生物有抗衰老特性。另外，它还起抗皱剂的作用。然而，由于对光不稳定并具有皮肤刺激性，它没有被广泛用于化妆品配方。[6]视黄醇可用于治疗包括光衰老在内的皮肤病。它的缺乏与干燥症和滤泡性角化过度症的发展有关。[1]
视黄醇是活性类视黄醇的前体。它可转化为视黄醛，然后再转化为视黄酸。All-trans及9-cis-视黄酸是核受体、视黄酸受体（RAR）和类视黄醇X受体（RXR）的配体。这些受体是多种基因的转录调控因子。[7]

  1. How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

    1 answer

    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.   2. How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

    1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
      For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.
