乳酸氧化酶(LOX)是一种黄素单核苷酸(FMN)依赖型酶,是α-羟酸氧化酶黄素酶(flavoenzyme)家族一员。
应用
来自绿色气球菌 的乳酸氧化酶已被用于:
- 作为培养基增补剂用于将胞外乳酸转化为丙酮酸

生化/生理作用
在FMN辅助因子存在的情况下,乳酸氧化酶(LOX)可催化乳酸氧化形成丙酮酸和过氧化氢。该酶通过测定反应中形成的过氧化氢,有助于间接测定L-乳酸。
