生化/生理作用
ββ-半乳糖苷酶作用于二糖、糖缀合物和多糖末端的β-D-半乳糖基。它可用于介导转糖基反应,比如低聚半乳糖(GOS)合成。ββ-半乳糖苷酶可用于糖生物学和生物技术应用。
β-半乳糖苷酶切割乳糖成单糖成分,葡萄糖和半乳糖。它还能催化葡萄糖转糖基化形成异乳糖,在反馈回路中作为β-半乳糖苷酶的诱导剂。
