一般說明
Methyl green is a widely used nuclei counterstain for histochemical methods.[1] Methyl green binds to the DNA major groove and is used for tracking triplex formation.[2] The positive charge on the aniline rings in the methyl green enables its strong binding to DNA.[3] Methyl green aids clear visualization in confocal laser scanning microscopy.[1]
