一般描述

本品为高粘度羧甲基纤维素(CMC); 1%水溶液在25 oC下的粘度为1500-3000厘泊(cps)。粘度与浓度和温度有关。随着温度的增加,粘度降低。随着浓度的增加,粘度增加。低、中、高粘度的CMC都可用作悬浮剂。低粘度CMC通常用于“稀”水溶液中。 中粘度CMC用于制备看起来像糖浆的溶液。 高粘度CMC用于制备类似乳膏或乳液的混合物。

应用

具有不同粘度的可溶性羧甲基纤维素(CM-纤维素;CMC)可用作粘度改进剂(增稠剂)以稳定乳液,并可用作油和其他碳结构(如纳米管)的化学分散剂。CMC可用于开发例如生物膜、乳液和用于药物递送的纳米颗粒等生物结构。[1] 高粘度的羧甲基纤维素可用于实现乳膏或乳液溶液的稠度。[2]

制备说明

该产品可溶于水(10mg/ml)。溶解羧甲基纤维素的关键是将固体小心地加入水中,使其充分的分散(充分润湿)。该过程可能需要分批添加固体。 向干燥的固体中加水会产生难以溶解的固体“团块”;必须将固体加入水中。轻轻搅拌或间歇摇动;不要适用磁力搅拌棒不断搅拌。不需要在高温下溶解,事实上高温可能会减慢溶解过程。混合装置,例如产生涡流的叶轮型搅拌器,可帮助粉末混入液体中,但是其可能会产生一些剪切效应。注意,这种高粘度CMC通常以低于20mg/ml的浓度使用,但它在水中的溶解度可高达50mg/ml;需要加热以制备50mg/ml溶液。

    1. Unfortunately, the degree of substitution for this material has not been determined. Historical data indicate a degree of polymerization of approximately 3200.

  2. How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

    1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.

If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature.
