一般說明

凝胶上样溶液在电泳期间可用作跟踪染料。染料具有轻微的负电荷,并且与DNA的迁移方向相同,从而使得用户可以监测分子在凝胶中移动的进程。迁移速率随凝胶组成而变化。上样前用样品进行1:6稀释。

應用

预期条带迁移如下:
在聚丙烯酰胺凝胶上,二甲苯氰基可与大约450-460bp的DNA共迁移,而溴酚蓝与15-100bp的DNA共迁移。在0.5-1.4%琼脂糖凝胶上,二甲苯氰基可与4kb dsDNA共迁移,而溴酚蓝则与300bp dsDNA共迁移。
