Ethylenediamine-core poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimers are highly branched, “tree-like” core-shell nanostructures made up of amide and amine functional subunits.[1]
应用
PAMAM Dendrimer Kit, generations 4-7 can be used to formulate poorly water-soluble drugs to increase water solubility, and therefore enhance the bioavailability of these drugs.[1] It can also be applied to catalysts and organic molecules, where dendrimers function as solubility enhancers and modifiers, allowing to mix otherwise immiscible materials.[2][3]
