四乙基溴化铵可用作:
- 通过水热结晶法合成beta沸石的有机模板。
- 作为醛或醇与苯硫酚或二硫化物氧化偶合形成硫酯的催化剂。
- 与 邻碘酰基苯甲酸(IBX)一起用于将伯甲酰胺氧化脱碳形成腈 以及将α,α-二取代乙酰胺氧化形成酮。该试剂组合还可用于将硫化物转化为亚砜 以及将 N,N-二取代甘氨酰胺转化为相应的氰胺。
