General description

Glutamine synthetase expression medium (GSEM) supplement enables formation of glutamine from ammonia and glutamate there by alleviating accumulation of ammonia in culture medium. It is exploited for high yield recombinant protein production in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells.

Application

GSEM Supplement has been used as a supplement for ProCHO5 Protein-free medium for culturing Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells and selective medium for NS0 myeloma cells.
