General description

Fluorogenic substrate for the assay of human leukocyte and porcine pancreatic elastase.

Application

N-Methoxysuccinyl-Ala-Ala-Pro-Val-7-amido-4-methylcoumarin has been used as a substrate in elastase assay[1] using bone marrow lysates[2] and pancreatic lysates.[3]
