ERBB2 (erb-b2 receptor tyrosine kinase 2) is a tyrosine kinase receptor that belongs to the ErbB family. It is also known as human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)/Neu[1] and is located on human chromosome 17q12.[2] The human ErbB2 (epidermal factor growth factor receptor 2) ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of human ErbB2 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and urine.

ERBB2 (erb-b2 receptor tyrosine kinase 2) is considered as a therapeutic target in breast cancer.[3] It controls the concentration of intracellular calcium in SKBR3 (breast cancer cell line) cells.[1]

Questions

  1. I'm interested in the kit ELH-ErbB2-001 and would like to know if the diluent supplied with the kit contains mouse antibodies that react with any HAMA present in the samples? Another kit in the market contained anti-heterophil in reagent.

    1. The composition of the diluents are proprietary.
      However they do not include any mouse antibodies.
