Immunogen

nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (AchR) from the rat brain.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Binds to native and denatured α4 AchR. May be used to quantitate α4 AchR′s on the cell surface. The epitope is located on the extracellular surface of the α4 subunit of the AchR.

Physical form

Solution in 20 mM Na3PO4, pH 7.2, containing 150 mM NaCl and 0.05% sodium azide.
