Anti-GAG polyprotein antibody produced in chicken is suitable for western blot analysis.

GAG is highly involved in RNA trafficking. It helps in transport of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) RNA via diffusion within the cytoplasm. Ubiquitination of Gag enhances possibilities of its optimal function in virus release and maturation. It also recruits Ub ligases at the viral assembly site.
