Biochem/physiol Actions

Dihydralazine sulfate is a vasodilator and an antihypertensive agent. It relaxes arterial smooth muscle by inhibiting the accumulation of intracellular free calcium. By relaxing vascular smooth muscle, vasodilators act to decrease peripheral resistance.[1][2]
