General description

This photooxidation UV lamp is designed to photooxidize organic compounds in water. The dual wavelength reduces TOC (total organic compounds) to less than 5 ppb for sensitive applications.
UV lamps should be periodically replaced during system maintenance.
For use with Direct-Q® and Simplicity® water purification systems.

Application

The photooxidation UV lamp is recommended for laboratories working with organic-sensitive applications such as HPLC, GC or TOC analyses.

    1. Recommended storage conditions: temperatures from 5 to 30°C; humidity between 10 and 80%. The original sealed bag (if provided) must be kept intact before the first use to protect the purification element from foreign matter.

  6. How frequently do the various consumables need to be changed?

    1. The frequency that consumables must be changed depends on the system's usage (treated water volume) and on the consumables themselves (time of usage). In order to ensure the quality of water and your results, the consumables should be replaced when the system alerts you.

  7. Can I change the UV lamp myself?

    1. No. With the exception of our SMART system range, a field service engineer must change the UV lamp as this process can be dangerous for customers and requires special protective equipment.
