Opis

General description

Native IgA₂ from human myeloma plasma. Human immunoglobulin A₂, type λ serum, containing IgA₂ as 98% of total IgA. Purified from plasma.

In 150 mM NaCl, 10 mM phosphate buffer, pH 7.4.

Preparation Note

Prepared from plasma that was shown to be nonreactive for HBsAg and antibodies to HCV and HBc and negative for HIV antibodies by certified tests.

Other Notes

Single arc by immunoelectrophoresis against antiserum to whole human sera. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
