How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?
1 answer-
If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?
1 answer-
Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. What should be done if Water Standard Oven 1% experiences a decrease in water content when stored under argon in a glove box?
1 answer-
It is not recommended to store the 1% water standard oven in a glove box. Storing it in environments with low humidity can cause a decrease in its water content. To maintain the standard's integrity, it is crucial to tightly seal the bottles immediately after use and store them under normal laboratory or environmental conditions.

buenos dias, a que temperatura esta certificado este std ?
1 answer-
As cited in the product Certificate of Analysis, the water content is determined by the coulometric Karl Fischer oven method at 170°C".
TS Answer: Product 1.88054 (which may also be written without the dot as 188054) is a water standard composed of a mixture of potassium sulfate and sodium tungsten dihydrate, provided as a powder. It is approximately 1 percent water by weight or 10 milligrams of water per 1 gram of powder; the exact certified value as a mass fraction or mass percentage is reported on the certificate of analysis (CofA) for each lot.
This standard is to be stored at room temperature (15-25°C), up to the lot-specific expiry date. But the analysis is run at a much higher temperature. The Measurement method provided on the Certificate of Analysis says "The water content is determined by coulometric Karl Fischer oven method at 170°C".
