General description

Purospher^® STAR Si endcapped, 5 µm HPLC columns offers highest separation efficiency for normal-phase chromatography of low molecular weight compounds soluble in organic solvents.Purospher^® STAR Si, 5 µm LiChroCART^™ 125-4 is a cartridge column which requires a manuCART^™ cartridge column holder part number 1.51486.0001. The manuCART^™ can be used to hold one cartridge column with or without direct integration of a 4-4 mm guard column. The recommended guard column is Purospher^® STAR RP-8 endcapped (5 µm) LiChroCART^™ 4-4 part number 1.50249.0001. LiChroCART^™ cartridge columns mounted with a manuCART^™ cartridge column holder is hand-tight only and have therefore a maximum pressure stability of 250 bar. Intended to be used in the separation of aflatoxins, carotenoids, oils, fat soluble vitamins, Lipids, and fatty acids.
