一般說明

溴甲酚绿(BCG)也称为溴甲酚蓝,是一种人工合成的阴离子型三苯甲烷染料,属于酞和磺酞类染料。在pH 3.8-5.4之间染料从黄色变成蓝绿色,常用作pH指示剂。溴甲酚绿的单钠盐在水中高度离子化。在较高的pH下,染料形成大的弱亲脂性双阴离子。

溴甲酚绿在生物和医学实验中用作pH指示剂。
