일반 설명

Tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAOH) is an ion-pairing agent that is usually used in analytical chemistry. It is used in the analysis of marine compounds by thin-layer chromatography-pyrolysis-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (TLC-pyrolysis-GC/MS) and thermal desorption/capillary GC/inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. TMAOH is used in the capillary zone electrophoresis technique for the separation of inorganic anions. Some studies report the oligonucleotide reassociation in the presence of TMAOH. TMAOH aids in the synthesis of organic and inorganic compounds, such as vinyl halides and tetramethylammonium dithiocarboxylates. It is useful in the preparation of iron oxide nanoparticles for use as magnetic resonance imaging contrast agents.

애플리케이션

Tetramethylammonium hydroxide pentahydrate has been used in a study to assess strains of Pseudomnas species by a single-step gas chromatographic characterization procedure. [1] It has also been used in a study to investigate solid-state metal hydride batteries nickel oxyhydroxide-metal hydride and manganese dioxide-metal hydride. [2]
Tetramethylammonium hydroxide pentahydrate has been used in the synthesis of silicalite-1 seed crystals.

    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.     1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life.
