Pirenzepine dihydrochloride is an anticholinergic agent.[1][2] It is also considered as an antiulcer drug.[3] It is used to treat myopia, gastric and duodenal ulcers.[1][4] Pirenzepine dihydrochloride induces the dimerization of muscarinic M1 receptors.[5]

Pirenzepine dihydrochloride has been used
  • in transactivation of fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR).[6]
  • as a supplement in cell culture.[7]
  • for the stimulation of human fibroblasts[8]
