Sodium 1-octanesulfonate monohydrate (NaOS) is an ion-pairing reagent.[1]

애플리케이션

NaOS has been used as ion-pairing reagent for ultra-high performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) analysis with photodiode array detection to estimate paraquat (methyl viologen) in tissue homogenate.[1] It may also be used in determination of dopamine and its metabolites in brain microdialysates using liquid chromatography combined with electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC–ESI-MS/MS).[2]
