Thermal decomposition of iron(III) nitrate nonahydrate has been reported. Fe2O3 was obtained as the major decomposition product at 523K.[1]

애플리케이션

Iron(III) nitrate nonahydrate may be employed as an inorganic precursor for the preparation of iron(III)-doped titania nanoparticles by modified sol-gel method.[2] Ferric nitrate nonahydrate supported on silica may be used for the preparation of benzils.[2]
