An inhibitor of protein tyrosine phosphatases, alkaline phosphatases and ATPases.
Inhibits ATPase, alkaline phosphatase and tyrosine phosphatase. Decavanadate, which is formed at acidic pH, inhibits inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP3)-induced Ca2+ release from endocrine cells and blocks IP3 binding to its receptor in brain tissue.

If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice.     1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.

    1. Solutions prepared as 1 mM in water (or higher if desired) and adjusted to pH 10 can be aliquotted in plastic tubes and stored at -20°C. To ensure the presence of monomers, solutions should be heated to boiling until translucent and pH re-adjusted to 10.
