Nap1 is also known as Nap125, Nck-associated protein 1, NCKAP1 or histone chaperone NAP1. It is an essential component of this signaling complex. This gene is located on human chromosome 2q32. It is an important apoptosis-related gene.
The gene encoding NCK associated protein 1 (NAP-1) is localized on human chromosome 2q32 and is expressed in neuronal cells.
アプリケーション
Anti-Nap1 (N-terminal) antibody produced in rabbit has been used in immunoblotting.
生物化学的/生理学的作用
NCK associated protein 1 (NAP-1) has been shown to be downregulated in Alzheimer′s disease.
Nck-associated protein 1 (NAP1/NCKAP1) along with Sra1 and ABI1 (Abl interactor 1) is involved in stabilizing WAVE2. Removal of Nap1 or Sra1 by RNAi abrogated the formation of lamellipodia induced by growth factor. Nap1 interacts directly with Abi1. It has been shown that Nap1 mediates the interaction of the Nap1-PIR121 complex to Abi1. Nap1 may participates in neuronal cell death in Alzheimer′s disease (AD).
ターゲットの説明
Nap1 (N-terminal) interacts with Nck and may be involved in the downstream signaling of Nck [RGD].

We previously reported the isolation of a novel apoptosis-related gene, human Nap1 (HGMW-approved symbol NCKAP1), the expression of which was strongly down-regulated in sporadic Alzheimer's disease (AD). Human Nap1 proved to be an orthologue of rat Nap1 which binds to

To establish infections, Salmonella injects virulence effectors that hijack the host actin cytoskeleton and phosphoinositide signaling to drive pathogen invasion. How effectors reprogram the cytoskeleton network remains unclear. By reconstituting the activities of the Salmonella effector SopE, we recapitulated Rho
