Application

Dihydrokainic acid has been used as a glutamate transporter (GLT-1) inhibitor in the glutamate uptake assay of astrocytes[1] and glial cells.[2] It may be used as a GLT-1 inhibitor in Lateral habenula (LHb).

GLT-1グルタミン酸トランスポ-タ-の選択的阻害剤で、高濃度では、AMPA/カイニン酸受容体の弱い阻害剤です。

グルタミン酸トランスポ-タ-GLT-1の選択的インヒビタ-です。高濃度のジヒドロカイニン酸は、AMPA/カイニン酸グルタミン酸受容体の弱い阻害剤です。

Dihydrokainic favors neuronal cell death.[3] It modulates anxiety and depression behaviors.
