Derived from 46BR, a fibroblast from an individual with hypogammaglobulinaemia. The parent cell line was transformed with the plasmid pSV3neo expressing SV40 T-antigen and is now immortal.

培地

EMEM (EBSS) + 2mM Glutamine + 1% Non Essential Amino Acids (NEAA) + 1mM Sodium Pyruvate (NaP) + 15% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).

継代と培養方法

Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:3 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 1-3x10,000 cells/cm² using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO₂; 37°C.
