カゼインはミルクタンパク質の一種で、高額ではなく非毒性であり、きわめて安定です。このリンタンパク質は、ウシ乳中の総タンパク質の80%を占めます。カゼインは、分泌型カルシウム結合性リンタンパク質という大きいファミリーに属します。
Application
ウシミルク由来N,N-ジメチル化カゼインは、疾患における組織トランスグルタミナーゼ（tTG）を検出し、その機能的役割を調べるためのアッセイに使用できます。特に、N,N-ジメチル化カゼインは、神経変性疾患に関係しているタンパク質基質上のtTGの機械的および動力学的解析に使用されています。
本製品は、非メチル化カゼインと比べて、2,4,6-トリニトロベンゼンスルホン酸（TNBS）との10%以下の反応性を示します。
バシラーゼ[1]のアッセイに使用されているプロテアーゼ基質、および部位特異的変異誘発によって産生されるスブチリシン類縁体です。[2]
本製品は、非メチル化カゼインと比べて、2,4,6-トリニトロベンゼンスルホン酸（TNBS）との10%以下の反応性を示します。

How does the storage temperature relate to shipping conditions?

The storage conditions that a Sigma-Aldrich catalog and label recommend for products are deliberately conservative. For many products, long-term storage at low temperatures will increase the time during which they are expected to remain in specification and therefore are labeled accordingly.
