Applicazioni

Methyl β-D-glucopyranoside has been used in a study to assess alternansucrase acceptor reactions with methyl hexopyranosides. [1] It has also been used in a study to investigate the specificity of yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae in removing carbohydrates by fermentation. [2]
