Azioni biochim/fisiol

La clindamicina è un antibiotico lincosamide semisintetico preparato a partire dalla lincomicina. Inibisce la sintesi proteica batterica mediante interazioni con legami a idrogeno con il componente 23S dell′rRNA della subunità ribosomiale 50S, inducendo così la dissociazione del complesso peptidil-t-RNA. Esercita un′attività antibatterica contro i cocchi gram positivi e un′attività antiprotozoaria contro il Taxoplasma.
