General description

Barium magnesium aluminate, europium doped is an efficient phosphor that is majorly used as a light emitter. It can be prepared by low temperature combustion process by utilizing urea as a fuel. It shows a band gap of ~5.24 eV and a crystallite size in the order of ~70 nm−650 nm. The thermo-luminescence (TL) spectra potentially peak at ~443 nm.[1][2]

Application

Barium magnesium aluminate, europium doped can be used in the fabrication of new hybrid perovskites and light emitting diodes (LEDs).[1][2][3]
