General description

Poly [(organo) phosphazene] polymers have an inorganic backbone made up of alternating nitrogen and phosphorous atoms. The inorganic atoms are connected by alternating single and double bonds.[1]

Application

Poly(dichlorophosphazene) (PDCP) may be used in the synthesis of higher biologically active organophosphazene polymers.[2][3]
