Application

Sodium phosphate tribasic is used to synthesis a reproducible Ag₃PO₄/TiO₂ visible light photocatalyst to improve the photocatalytic activity and stability of Ag₃PO₄. It has also been employed as a mineralizer in the hydrothermal synthesis of uniform single-crystalline CeO₂ nano-octahedrons and nanorods. It does not leave any impurities in the reaction system and makes it very easy to obtain and separate the octahedral and rod-like morphology.In addition, anodizing of Magnesium is studied in a solution containing sodium phosphate tribasic and KOH-aluminate to form anodic films of MgO and MgAl₂O₄ . Microarc oxidation coatings on magnesium alloy were created in sodium phosphate-KOH electrolytes with NaAlO₂. The addition of NaAlO₂ to the base electrolyte increased the amount of spinel MgAl₂O₄ in the oxide coating.
