生化／生理作用
RNF115 (RING finger protein 115) is a RING-type E3 ubiquitin ligase. It is up-regulated in breast cancer and is involved in cell proliferation. It also causes degradation of HIV-1 (human immunodeficiency virus type-1) and other retroviral Gag proteins. RNF115 works as an antiviral factor. It binds with and ubiquitinates p21.
