应用

Anti-RPS24 antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . Each antibody is tested by immunohistochemistry against hundreds of normal and disease tissues. These images can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. 生化/生理作用

RPS24 (ribosomal protein S24) gene encodes a component of the ribosomal 40S subunit. Ribosomes catalyze protein synthesis. The protein is a member of the S24E family of ribosomal proteins. Defects in this gene cause Diamond-Blackfan anemia that is characterized by macrocytic anemia, erythroblastopenia, and an increased risk of developing leukemia. It also disrupts ribosomal biogenesis and pre-rRNA maturation. The gene is localized to human chromosome 10q22-q23.
