生化/生理作用
次黄嘌呤(Hypoxanthine)是嘌呤代谢的中间产物。它在一些转运RNA(tRNA)中作为反密码子′-碱基发挥重要作用。结构虽然与鸟嘌呤(Gua)类似,但C(2)位没有环外氨基。它可作为底物,用于次黄嘌呤-鸟嘌呤磷酸核糖转移酶的特异性和动力学研究。
