生化／生理作用

作用机制不明的抗惊厥药；可通过血脑屏障；增加脑内 GABA 浓度，减少兴奋性氨基酸神经传递，可能是通过其对电压门控钙通道的作用；表现出抗伤害、抗焦虑、神经保护和抗癫痫作用。
加巴喷丁作为 L 型钙通道 α2δ 亚单位的配体。
