一般說明

偏高碘酸钠是有机合成中常用的氧化剂,用于氧化各种有机底物。它也可与其他氧化剂如四氧化锇、高锰酸钾等作共氧化剂。高碘酸钠的氧化发生在水介质中,但有机助溶剂用于不溶于水的有机基质。

應用

偏高碘酸钠可用作氧化剂,用于氧化:      
  • 1,2-二醇通过氧化裂解生成醛或酮。       在相转移催化剂的作用下,硫化物转化为亚砜。      
  • 二芳基、二烷基和芳基烷基硒化物转化为各自的硒氧化物。      
  • 酚类及其相应的醌类衍生物。
  • 酰基磷烷变成 α,β-二羰基化合物。

它也可用于:      
  • 选择性烯烃环氧化和烷烃羟基化,
  • 碳水化合物氧化。      
  • 芳香化合物的碘化。

可用于在进行生物素酰肼标记前氧化糖类的试剂
